The goal of Shar-Pei Rescue of VA is to help rehabilitate and re-home shelter Shar-Pei, Shar-Pei in situations of cruelty and neglect, and Shar-Pei from families that can no longer care for them. We are an IRS 501©3 approved organization. Our group is comprised of volunteers that are dedicated to finding loving, forever homes for Shar-Pei in need.

AHS Forked River Shelter & Home of Popcorn Park

AHS Lacey serves towns throughout Ocean County and is also home to Popcorn Park Animal Refuge. Although AHS Lacey is contracted with several towns for Animal Control services, we handle so much more than the stray dog or cat call. Due to our Animal Refuge on site, our ACOs are experienced in all aspects of wildlife rescues as well. From the injured swan to the snake or possum that finds themselves in a sticky situation, we help them all at AHS Lacey. All animals at this facility are provided with expert medical care and in many cases, rehabilitative care as well. We take in animals from all walks of life ranging from cruelty cases to elderly pets and farm and exotic animals as well, and ensure that they have all that they need, whether that includes a loving, adoptive home, or a place to call home for the rest of their days.

AHS Tinton Falls Shelter

AHS Tinton Falls serves many towns in Monmouth County, NJ. The areas covered by this animal care facility range from rural towns to inner cities, to shore towns too. As a result, AHS Tinton Falls handles a wide variety of animals and circumstances that includes everything from domestic animals to farm animals and cruelty cases. Staff at this location are dedicated to providing every animal that comes through their doors with a fresh start in life, no matter the circumstances from which they came. They witness neglected and abandoned pets too, and provide every animal with expert medical care and all that is needed to start over in life in wonderful new adoptive homes. AHS Tinton Falls also has a small farm area at their facility and cares for a wide range of farm animals that were brought in from a variety of circumstances.

The mission of the Associated Humane Societies, Inc., including Popcorn Park Zoo, is to consistently provide the highest quality of care to all animals, domestic and wildlife, including their rescue, housing, veterinary care, placement whenever possible, and when required, a peaceful end. It is also our mission to prevent cruelty to all animals, primarily in New Jersey, but also throughout the United States. This shall be done through direct intervention as well as the promotion of humane education regarding the proper care and treatment of animals at both public and private levels, thereby advancing the humane treatment of animals everywhere.

3 Hearts 4 Paws Animal Rescue was founded with love and passion and is dedicated not only to the lives of those we save, but to the so many lives that are lost. Korean K9 Rescue

We are a non-profit, No-Kill 501(c)(3) dog rescue organization based in Queens, New York that saves dogs from the meat trade, puppy mills, and high-kill shelters in South Korea. Due to the stigma associated with mixed-breed dogs and those from dog meat farms, most dogs have a low chance of being adopted in South Korea and run the risk of being euthanized. We transport at-risk dogs to the United States, where we place them in loving forever homes. Our current eligible locations for adoption include areas within New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Washington D.C., and Maryland. Through the adoption process, we can spread awareness about the brutal dog meat trade and advocate for the voiceless dogs that are still suffering.
